From high-touch surface disinfection to more sensitive cleanup involving bodily fluids, contaminated materials or other site hazards, our approach starts with assessing the area, controlling the risk and following the appropriate cleaning process.
Disinfection Cleaning
Disinfection is used where reducing surface contamination is important. The process begins with proper cleaning to remove soil and debris, followed by application of the appropriate disinfectant.
In a residential building, common areas include:

- Elevator buttons and cab surfaces
- Stairwell and corridor handrails
- Common washrooms

Some incidents require additional precautions, PPE and controlled cleanup procedures. Depending on the situation, services can include:

- Unattended or heavily soiled common areas

For buildings on Servus® Janitorial Management, routine disinfection of high-touch common areas can be built into the regular scope of work. Hazard cleanup can be arranged separately when an unexpected incident occurs, with the work documented and reported back to the property manager or strata council.
