We started in 1989 as MEM Services Ltd., running two vans and offering just carpet cleaning and janitorial work. In 2024, we rebranded as Servus Group Lower Mainland, becoming a Single-Source Specialty Cleaning and Janitorial Management Company with more than 25 service vehicles and 80 team members across the region.
Our purpose is simple — we clean, maintain, and enhance buildings using skilled people, specialized tools, and innovative products that solve real problems. From Gutter Maintenance Programs with unlimited service calls to Floor Care Programs with unlimited spot cleaning, and Soft Wash Roof Treatments backed by a three-year moss-free warranty, every program is built around making property care easier and more reliable for our customers.
Servus has also licensed independent companies such as Servus Junk Removal and Servus Painting & Coatings — each operating the Servus way: using our shared systems, safety standards, and customer experience model to deliver professional, connected field services under one trusted brand.
The next step in our journey is national — Servus Specialty Cleaning across Canada, with a goal of building a community of specialty cleaning companies that scale through employee experience and field service delivery technology.

What Does Servus Mean……
“Servus” comes from Latin, where it meant “servant” or “at your service.” Over time, it evolved into a friendly greeting across parts of Europe — a way to say both hello and goodbye while showing respect. That meaning fits us perfectly. At Servus, being “at your service” isn’t just a phrase — it’s how we approach every job. It represents a standard of professionalism rooted in respect for our clients, our team, and the work itself.
What EX + CX = Growth Really Means
At Servus, we believe growth occurs where Employee Experience and Customer Experience Align. When employees feel supported, equipped, and valued, they provide the kind of customer experience that drives long-term business growth. Simply put — EX + CX = Growth — We evaluate every decision with a clear formula: CX + EX = Growth. This means Customer Experience plus Employee Experience equals Growth. In other words, if an innovation or change does not benefit our customers and employees, we do not proceed with it.
What is Specialty Cleaning?
Specialty cleaning cleans, protects, and enhances challenging environments using expert skills and specialized tools. It requires advanced training, a deep understanding of materials and chemistry, and a strong focus on safety and compliance. Success comes from investing in the right tools, technology, and employee training to deliver.
What is Janitorial Management?
Janitorial Management is a system designed to oversee and optimize daily cleaning operations. It ensures that all parties—managers, cleaning staff, service contractors, and clients—are aligned, communicate effectively, and maintain high standards. This system provides a 360-degree overview of the cleaning process, offering real-time updates, performance tracking, task allocations, and inspections to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
